1. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to us when you contact us or request a demo. This may include:

• your name;
• email address;
• company or organization;
• job title or role; and
• any information you choose to include in your message.

Providing this information is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the contact and scheduling information we need, we may not be able to respond to your inquiry or arrange a demo.

When you select Book a Demo, you are directed to Google Calendar. Information you submit through that service is processed by Google under its own privacy terms and is shared with SureCase so that we can schedule and respond to your request.

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 may collect pages viewed, website interactions, referring website, approximate location, browser and device type, operating system, session information, and online identifiers such as cookie identifiers. Google receives an IP address when Analytics data is collected, but states that it does not log or store individual IP addresses in GA4.

We use Analytics information in aggregated form to measure website traffic, understand which content is useful, and improve the website. We do not send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information to GA4. For more information, please see Google’s Privacy Policy.

2. How and Why We Use Information

We use personal information for the following purposes and legal grounds:

• Inquiries and demo requests: to take steps at your request before entering into a potential contract and for our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and developing business relationships.
• Website operation and security: for our legitimate interests in operating, protecting, and improving our website and business.
• Website analytics: with your consent, to understand website use and improve our content.
• Legal compliance: where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests include communicating with prospective customers, operating and developing our business, and maintaining the security of our website. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests as described below.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate our website and business. These include our website hosting and delivery provider, communications providers, and Google for Google Analytics and Google Calendar demo scheduling.

We may also disclose information if required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, or business.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Cookies and Similar Storage

If you accept Analytics, GA4 uses first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_B6MFMZEXKY to distinguish visitors and sessions and generate website usage statistics. These cookies may remain on your device for up to two years unless you delete them sooner.

We also store surecase-analytics-consent in your browser’s local storage. This is necessary to remember whether you accepted or declined Analytics and remains until you change your choice or clear your browser storage.

Analytics does not load unless you accept it. Declining Analytics does not prevent you from using the website. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using Cookie settings; withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

You may also prevent your activity from being available to Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Data Retention and Security

We generally retain inquiry and demo-request information for up to 24 months after our last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is necessary for an active business relationship, a legal obligation, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

User-level and event-level information collected through GA4 is retained for no longer than 14 months. Aggregated reporting information may remain available for longer because it no longer identifies an individual visitor in the same way.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We do not use website visitor information to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Portugal, this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

7. International Data

Some of our service providers, including Google, operate internationally and may process information outside Portugal or the European Economic Area. Where required, international transfers are protected by a European Commission adequacy decision, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or by approved safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
